Importance of Gratitude in Life

Cicero said: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others”

Having said that, I want to share something I really believe in and no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise:

Constant gratitude = Constant happiness

The more moments you appreciate and are thankful for, the more moments of happiness you will have!

Can I prove it?

No, and I’ll never be able to, but I really wanted to share this with you.

For every country you go to, I suggest you learn at least the words for “THANK YOU” and use them every time someone does something for you, or maybe when you see a landscape that leaves you speechless or when you’re taking a warm shower after a day out among palm trees and spectacular beaches.

Those who are grateful are also kinder to others, they respect all cultures and don’t judge, but observe instead.

Those who are grateful are not prejudiced.

I advise you to prepare yourself to develop this virtue as much as possible, because when you are grateful you are also satisfied, and when you are in such a state everything you do is better and you tend to only attract beautiful things.

Moments of Gratitude in Vietnam

The usual new-age talk? I know...

Come on, I’ll stop here, it’s not my aim to convince you of something I can’t prove, but I’ll still give you some examples of the advantages that gratitude offers on the road.

If you smile and say thank you people tend to trust you and therefore be more inclined to help you.

If you are grateful when good things happen to you, you attract even more good things to you.

In restaurants, waiters tend to give better service to those who thank them and treat them with respect.

There are many more examples, but I think this is enough to give you an idea of the power of Gratitude!
